As of April 2019 I have just become Head of Upper School at a top international school. My school, its pupils, teachers, support staff, parents and wider community are fantastic. My new role is to give them the support they deserve as they and the school continue to grow and thrive.
Supporting such a huge group is a daunting challenge, but one I will succeed in.
Part of my success will be in integrating my research and professional development with my school and in making supportive decisions which have a firm background in educational theory. I think such experiences will be of great value to other people in my position and I would like to share them. I hope by collecting them on this blog, I will help myself to be a reflective practitioner and help others to gain from my experiences for the benefit of education everywhere.
